Based in London, you will be part of the London key city marketing team. This team will be accountable for:
Humanising our brand through relationships on the ground with key communities, athletes, and athletes* that move our world forward through movement
Engaging members 365 with focus on activity (movement), connections (relationships), and purpose – optimising key membership KPIs and bringing the magic of Nike to life on the ground for the members who love us the most
Owning targeted brand extensions that amplify our brand narrative

As a London Sport Performance & Lifestlye Marketing Specialist (Agile) you will be a part of the London Brand Management function, reporting directly to the London Sport Performance & Lifestyle Marketing Director. In this role your core duties will include:
Identifying the people & organisations that best align to our brand values and can serve as the human face of our brand on the ground in one of our key cities. Then managing these relationships in a robust yet sustainable fashion,
Developing storytelling leveraging these relationships, powered by our membership marketing engine, that drive consumers to become members, that coach our members to become better athletes*, and that reward our most engaged members IRL with the magic that only Nike can bring to life. Also serving up these relationships to meet targeted seasonal briefs from the EMEA Consumer Construct Marketing team
Gathering structured and continuous consumer & member insights to allow us to better serve members on the ground in London, and to feed back to EMEA/Global in order to help longer-term & seasonal concepts

The role goes across all sport performance/lifestyle dimensions, sport & cultural moments and new areas that may not exist or we do not support yet. Your curiosity to identify budding dimensions of sport or lifestyle in the city will help drive the success of this agile set-up.
As brand defining concepts emerge from Global/EMEA Consumer Construct, in order to have impact in the cities that shift trends, this role may support in driving local extensions of such key concepts
As our Global Brand Narrative evolves, this role may execute key amplification in-city
As the London Catalyst Marketing team works on brand defining campaigns, this role may support execution
Who will you work with? In this role you will work fluidly across the full city marketing team, including aligning on roles & responsibilities within the Brand Management function (Consumer Construct & Purpose), and working with cross-functional partners to bring your vision to life for our members in the city. You will report directly into the London Sport Performance & Lifestyle Marketing Director, but will also support agile Marketing Managers and/or the LDN Purpose Marketing Team on bespoke projects. You will work cross-functionally in the London office with key partners such as Sports Marketing, SCI, and Consumer Insights in service of our athletes, consumers and members. And you will of course build strong relationships with key partners in the city – a collection of the faces & organisations that we believe best represent our brand. The shape of your day-to-day work will vary significantly, and therefore your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You must be consistently collaborative and open to the opinions and expertise of those you engage with, while being willing to voice your own point of view in service of our consumer.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing, with at least 1 year of direct to consumer marketing experience within that
Prior experience in the marketing areas of either brand management or influencer marketing
A proven track record of connecting with consumers through insight gathering and support in execution of cross-functional marketing campaigns
Proven experience managing external relationships in London with individuals and organisations
A desire & willingness to adapt in an agile fashion to our consumers’ and organisation’s needs to deepen our relationships with members. A willingness to grow across any sport or lifestyle dimension, and a willingness to be allocated accountability for a particular relationship, sport/lifestyle dimension for a defined period of time
Culturally connected in London with a solid understanding of the different dimensions of London’s culture
Proven ability to identify people and communities who are shaping culture in London
